spring break

for spring break we went on a road trip to nashville, came through lexington ky and then stopped in dayton, ohio before landing back in michigan.
we met a lot of crazy people, and it was a lot of fun to finally get a change of scenery and see some people we haven't seen before.
we saw some drunk chick rubbing herself all over an elvis statue
talked to friendly bums
talked to unfriendly bums
and we smoked a lot of cigarettes.

so like to draw a lot, and here are a few ideas i came up with before i was in a screen printing class. i had this idea of starting my own t shirt company which was fun, but now that i am printing, i haven't printed any of these.

naked pictures of jesse

so i don't know what made me come up with this lame idea, but i did it anyway, and i just thought i would share this.
this happened maybe last year, and i had no idea how to control lighting, and even worse, i didn't really know what to do with a nude.

pinhole is fun

so i like double exposures, a lot.
and i really like pinhole photography as well. a lot of people don't like it because the images are so ambiguous and indistinct. but that is exactly what i like about it.
some images are good just because of their form. their character and narrative can sometimes be completely formed from simple ambiguity itself.

here are a few images from michigan and also the house my grandmother used to live in, which is right on the property line of the daniel boone national forest.

looks like it's time to start this.
i'm whitefox, and i'm a photographer
but i work with several different mediums, because i just like to.
i paint sometimes, draw a lot, and i write poetry a little.
and i make killer t shirts

anyway

so i did a shoot not too long ago, and it was my first 'fashion' shoot i guess, i see myself as more of an artsy/portrait style photographer, and so it was a lot of fun learning how to experiment with fashion.
