i've been really busy

and then one day i had this thought: what if i made a cardboard backpack?  i have fallen back in love with cardboard, and have also fallen in love with my backpack since i take it everywhere with me.  papa lyons said, 'yeahhh it would be a nice piece of art but that's about it.'  and i said, umm no.  

it's functional so you can keep all your pokemon with you wherever you go.  

this is stage one.  i will be adding a back padding with straps (that are not made of cardboard) and i will also be painting awesome things on it.  stay tuned or else.

notebooks for sale.

so i started making these notebooks and they're pretty sweet.  it took a long time to make.  i folded the paper, bound it, painted and decorated it myself.  they are made of cardboard and printing paper with krylon enamel and yes it's an original polaroid.  the other is something i cut out of the transit map from chicago.  they have 99 pages to be exact.

i don't know what to price them for, so i guess they're up for the highest bidder.

when i was little some kid asked me what my middle name was. i told him it was whitefox and he asked me why it wasn't blackfox because i am black.  i didn't even know what to say.

today i caught something.

and then

i went to a show at my friend's house her name is ardilla.  she has a hitchhiker selling anarchist literature who has doodley hair.  he sings and plays but i didn't get to hear him.  i did get to hear the guy that sings songs about pokemon in his spare time though.  

today was adventurous.

i to the woodland art fair today and met some kid that makes cool pictures and hoodie masks to make my face warm on my bike in the winter. i bought one today.  i want to shoot promo for him.
